Location: Worth Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety received information from Facilities that the storage closet in Worth basement has trash and broken items scattered about. EVS was notified. Matter referred to the Dean’s Office.
Status: Open

Suspicious Odor

Date: Wednesday, November 18
Time: 9:54 p.m.
Location: Mary Lyons Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety received a report about a burning odor within Mary Lyons main stair case. There was no sign of fire or smoke. Source could not be determined. Odor dissipated while on scene.
Status: Inactive

Fire Alarm

Date: Thursday, November 19
Time: 6:24 p.m.
Location: Bond Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Bond Hall for a fire alarm. There was no smoke or fire. It was determined that the alarm was activated due to a water leak. Facilities notified.
Status: Closed

Location: Worth Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within Worth Residence Hall. There was no sign of smoke or fire. It was determined that steam from a shower activated the alarm.

Location: Matchbox Fitness Center
Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police & Ambulance responded to the Matchbox for an ill individual. The individual was transported to the hospital.

Synopsis: Public Safety was contacted to initiate an investigation into the possible intimidation of a student by another student. Matter is under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report from a Swarthmore employee about an individual, not associated with Swarthmore, reporting that they are being stalked by an unknown and unidentified individual. Matter under investigation.

Location: Wharton Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Wharton Residence Hall for the report of an ill Swarthmore student. It was determined that the student was intoxicated. Matter referred to the Dean’s office.

Synopsis: A Public Safety officer observed a vehicle speeding on Field House Lane. Swarthmore Police responded and cited the driver of the vehicle.
