Location: Worth Residence Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety and Facilities responded to Worth Residence Hall for an activated fire alarm. There was smoke but no fire. It was determined that cooking had activated the alarm.

Location: Chester Road

Synopsis: Public Safety assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle at College Avenue and Chester Road.

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report of unauthorized activity in the basement of Bond Hall. The matter is under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to PPR Apartments for an activated fire alarm. There was smoke but no fire. It was determined that cooking had activated the alarm.

Location: On-campus residence hall

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report of a possible sexual assault in a residence hall in the fall semester of 2017. The matter has been referred to the Title IX Office.

Controlled Substance – Marijuana Possession

Date: Thursday, March 22, 2018

Time: 09:52 PM

Location: Parrish Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Parrish Hall for the reported odor of marijuana. Swarthmore students were discovered smoking marijuana. The matter was referred to the Dean’s Office.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Wharton Residence Hall for an activated fire alarm. There was no smoke or fire. It was determined that cooking had activated the alarm.

Synopsis: While responding to a fire alarm in Wharton Residence Hall, Public Safety discovered vandalism to a fire alarm pull station. The matter is under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Willets Residence Hall for the report of vandalism. The matter is under investigation.

Synopsis: While on routine patrol, Public Safety discovered an unauthorized party with alcohol and underage drinking. The matter was referred to the Dean’s Office.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to an elevator call button in the Matchbox. It was determined that the elevator was malfunctioning. Facilities was notified and the elevator was put out of service.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to McCabe Library for the report of an intrusion alarm. It was determined that Swarthmore students had left the building after the alarm was set.

Location: Wharton Residence Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Wharton Residence Hall for a fire alarm. There was no smoke or fire. The cause for the alarm could not be determined, and Facilities was notified.
