Location: Off Campus
Synopsis: A Clery Crime Report was received from a former student relative to an out of state incident that occurred prior to the person’s attendance at Swarthmore College.
Status: Title IX Referral

Fire Alarm

Date: Monday, April 20
Time: 8:46 p.m.
Location: Kohlberg Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Kohlberg for a fire alarm. Upon arrival, there was no sign of smoke or fire. It was determined that a duct detector is defective. Facilities notified.
Status: Inactive

Time: 9:36 a.m.
Location: Wharton Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Wharton Residence Hall for the report of an unknown individual within a Swarthmore student’s room. Upon arrival, the individual was identified as a family member of the student.
Status: Closed

Fire Alarm

Date: Thursday, April 23
Time: 10:21 p.m.
Location: Worth Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Worth Residence Hall for a fire alarm. Upon arrival the building had evacuated. There was no sign of smoke or fire. It was determined that the steam from the shower activated the alarm.

Dorm Room Smoke Detector Alarm

Date: Friday, April 24
Time: 7:15 a.m.
Location: Worth Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a smoke detector alarm within Worth Residence Hall. There was no sign of smoke or fire. There was no cause for alarm activation. Facilities notified.

Location: Clothier Hall
Synopsis: While on patrol, Public Safety observed a newspaper delivery blocking one door at Clothier. While in the area, a Swarthmore student retrieved the papers.

Time: 9:07 a.m.
Location: Clothier Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety received a theft report from a Swarthmore student about the theft of their wallet within Clothier Hall. Upon investigation, the wallet was found.

Public Drunkenness/Medical Emergency

Date: Saturday, April 25
Time: 1:07 a.m.
Location: Alice Paul Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police and Ambulance and Crozer Medic responded to the report of an unresponsive individual within Alice Paul. The individual became belligerent. The individual was identified as a Swarthmore student. The individual was transported to the hospital.

Time: 6:11 p.m.
Location: Clothier Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within Clothier Hall. Upon arrival, there was smoke. It was determined that food particles left on cooking tray began to smoke. The area was vented.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Worth Residence Hall for a dispute. Upon arrival, the individuals were identified. Matter referred to the Dean’s Office.

Purchase/Consumption/Possession/Transportation of Liquid Malt Brew, Medical Emergency

Date: Sunday, April 26
Time: 3:10 a.m.
Location: Alice Paul Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police and Ambulance responded to Alice Paul Residence Hall for the report of an intoxicated student. The student declined treatment and will be cited for under age drinking.
Status: Cleared/Arrest

Date: Sunday, April 26
Time: 1:57 a.m.
Location: Worth Residence Hall
Synopsis: While on patrol, Public Safety found plastic cups on top of the stove within Worth Residence Hall.
Status: Closed
