The Garnet women's soccer team will play in the post-season for the second straight year, receiving a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region Championship.

Next spring, a team of external examiners will visit campus and issue an evaluation report, culminating in Swarthmore's Middle States Accreditation review. This year, the Middle States Steering Committee has attempted to incorporate a self-study into the College's more long-term planning processes.

Featuring "hypnotic" and "heartrending" recitations, Swarthmore's first bilingual poetry reading took place last week. It was organized by Candice Nguyen ’11 and Professor Sibelan Forrester.

At the Dining Services Forum organized by Student Council last Thursday, students learned about the history of the meal plan, where the dining budget goes, and what Dining Services is doing to be sustainable, among other questions.
