Vehicle Accident

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report from a Swarthmore resident student about a vehicle accident that occured at the exterior of Hallowell Residence Hall. There were no injuries. Information forwarded to appropriate offices.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within Wharton Residence Hall. Upon arrival there was no sign of fire but there was smoke. It was determined that the alarm was activated due to cooking.

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report via email regarding a theft of a laptop from within the Science Center. The theft occurred on 11/14/2014. The value of the laptop is $1000. The matter is under investigation.

Location: Hallowell Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within Hallowell Residence Hall. Upon arrival, smoke was observed but there was no sign of fire. It was determined that the alarm was activated due to a student cooking. The area was ventilated and the alarm was reset.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a smoke detector alarm within Wharton Residence Hall. Upon arrival, it was determined that the alarm was activated due to steam from a pot of boiling water.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a noise complaint at the Ashton House. Sgt Sneed responded and discovered that a clock radio alarm was going off in an unoccupied room.
