Fire Alarm

Date: Tuesday, October 30
Time: 7:34 p.m.
Location: Mary Lyons 4
Synopsis: A fire alarm was received from within Mary Lyons Residence Hall. There was no sign of fire. The cause of the alarm was a dirty oven. Public Safety responded and reset the alarm.
Status: Cleared

 

Fire Hazard 

Date: Thursday,  November 1
Time: 1:00 a.m.
Location: Papazian Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety was patrolling Papazian Hall on the second floor and found a coffee pot had been left on. The coffee pot was turned off and then Public Safety returned patrol.
Status: Cleared

 

Fire Alarm

Date: Friday, November 2
Time: 9:40 p.m.
Location: Willets Residence Hall
Synopsis: A fire alarm was received from within the basement kitchen area of Willets Residence Hall. Public Safety responded and students were evacuating the building. The cause of the alarm was cooking. Once the smoke cleared, the fire pull station and elevator were reset. Public Safety then resumed patrol.
Status: Closed


Underage Drinking 

Date: Sunday, November 4
Time: 12:25 a.m.
Location: Sharples Dining Hall
Synopsis: A female student was evaluated by Worth Health Center for alcohol intoxication and then subsequently transported by ambulance to the hospital. The student was cited by Swarthmore Police for underage drinking.
Status: Cleared/Arrested

Synopsis: A male student was evaluated by Worth Health Center for alcohol intoxication and then subsequently transported by ambulance to the hospital. The student was cited by Swarthmore Police for underage drinking.
