Synopsis: Public Safety received information about a possible sexual assault of a Swarthmore student on campus. The matter has been referred to the Title IX Office.

Location: Willets Residence Hall

Synopsis: While on patrol, Public Safety observed a room within Willets Residence Hall with a covered smoke detector. The officers investigated and spoke with the occupant. The matter was referred to the Dean’s Office.

Controlled Substance – Marijuana Possession

Location: Willets Residence Hall

Synopsis: While on patrol, Public Safety observed unknown individuals smoking marijuana at the exterior of Willets Residence Hall. The individuals were later identified as Swarthmore students, and the matter was referred to the Dean’s Office.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a vehicle collision on College Avenue involving a College employee. There were no injuries. The information is on file for future reference.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Chester Road at the SEPTA bridge for a disabled tractor-trailer. The truck was moved from the area without incident.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Wharton Residence Hall for the report of a disturbance. The individual causing the disturbance was identified as a Swarthmore student. No further action was necessary.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to the Matchbox Fitness Center for an activated fire alarm. There was no smoke or fire, and it was determined that the alarm had been accidentally activated.
