The Good Food Project
The Good Food Project, which works to promote awareness about food as the intersection of sustainability, health, and social justice, asked to transfer funds from their project labor budget into their group supplies budget. The project requested the transfer away from labor because they have no one hired to work in their garden this semester, and their bees had died during the winter. The transfer was proposed and passed unanimously.
Men’s Ultimate Frisbee
The Men’s Ultimate Frisbee team requested a transfer of funds from their services budget to their registration budget. The transfer was requested in order to accommodate four extra team members signing up for a tournament. It was discussed whether the team would need more funds in their service budget later in the season to pay for hotels. Rather than the transfer, full supplemental funding was proposed and passed unanimously.
EcoVehicle Club
The EcoVehicle Club asked the SBC for funding to attend a conference in Detroit. The Dean’s Office will cover some of the costs after the conference, and the club also received some funding from Shell, however more money would be needed for them to travel to Detroit. SBC told the club to put together a proposal and then they will discuss funding.
