Suspicious Odor

Location: Woolman Residence Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety received information about the theft of an A-frame sign from Bond Lot between Worth Health Center and Benjamin West Building. The value of the sign is $300. Matter under investigation.

Controlled Substance – Marijuana Possession/Suspicious Odor

Date: February 9, 2015

Time: 10:37 pm

Location: Willets Residence Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Willets Residence Hall for the report of students smoking marijuana within a residence room. This matter has been referred to the Dean’s Office.

Status: Dean’s Referral

 

Fire Alarm

Date: February 10, 2015

Time: 5:20 am

Location: Cornell Library Addition

Synopsis: Public Safety and Facilities responded to a fire alarm within Cornell Library. Upon arrival, it was determined that a pipe had ruptured, causing, steam, which triggered the alarm.

Status: Inactive

 

Forcible Fondling

Date: January 31, 2015

Time: 4:55 pm

Location: Unknown Location

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report that a non-Swarthmore student was forcibly fooled by a s Swarthmore student on campus on 1/31/15. This matter is under investigation.

Controlled Substances – Opium, Cocaine, Sale and Manufacturing

Date: February 10, 2015

Location: Swarthmore College Campus

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report about possible drug distribution on campus on 1/24/15 and 2/7/15. The matter is under investigation.

Location: Whittier Place

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report from a non-Swarthmore student regarding a verbal altercation with an unknown male. This information will remain on file for future reference.

Fire Alarm

Date: February 11, 2015

Time: 12:03 pm

Location: Worth Residence Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within Worth Residence Hall. It was determined the alarm was activated due to steam from the bathroom.

Controlled Substances – Marijuana Possession

Location: Parrish Hall

Synopsis: While on patrol within Parrish Hall, Public Safety discovered two Swarthmore residents smoking marijuana. The matter has been referred to the Dean’s Office

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Roberts Residence Hall for the theft of a keyboard and mouse from the lounge computer. The value of the items is unknown at this time. Matter under investigation.
