Synopsis: Public Safety and Swarthmore Ambulance responded to Worth Health Center for the report of an ill Swarthmore resident student. Medical attention was declined.

Location: Bond-Lodges
Synopsis: While on patrol Public Safety found graffiti on the walls in the basement of Bond-Lodges. The matter is under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to the Science Center for the report of money stolen from within a locked office. The value is approximately $695. The matter is under investigation.

Forcible Rape

Location: Swarthmore College Campus
Synopsis: Title IX Coordinator reported to Public Safety that a student reported a sexual assault of a Swarthmore student by a Swarthmore student in the spring semester of 2014. The specific date, location, and conduct were not reported.

Suspicious Odor

Location: Parrish Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Parrish Hall for the report of the odor of an illegal substance. The areas were checked with negative results. Source of odor could not be determined by the officer.

Forcible Fondling

Location: College Avenue
Synopsis: Title IX Coordinator reported to Public Safety that she received a report about a possible Forcible Fondling by a Swarthmore student against an unidentified Swarthmore student occurring in the fall of 2012. No specific date or location were reported.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to the Black Cultural Center for a fire alarm. There was no smoke or fire. It was determines that the alarm was activated due to cooking.

Synopsis: Public Safety, along with other police departments, searched for an individual, not affiliated with the College, within the Crum Woods.

Synopsis: Public Safety received an email from a Swarthmore student who was concerned about suspicious Facebook postings. Swarthmore Police were notified and given the information. The matter is under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report of an unknown individual behaving suspiciously outside the Clothier Bookstore. Upon arrival, the area was checked with negative results. Information will be kept on file for future reference.

Burglary/Forcible Entry

Location: 538 Walnut Lane
Synopsis: Public Safety received a report of a burglary at a college owne property over the holiday break. The tenant reported a theft of a blue Raleigh M40 bike, another bike and a GPS. Swarthmore Police were notified.

Location: Town Center West
Synopsis: Public Safety received a report from Swarthmore Police regarding the theft of equipment from within a contruction trailer parked near the construction site of Town Center West. The theft occurred between12/31/14 and 1/2/15. The value of the equipment is unknown at this time. The matter is under investigation.

Vehicle Accident

Synopsis: A Swarthmore college employee was involved in an accident while operating a College owned vehicle. Swarthmore Police and Ambulance were dispatched. Both drivers were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Synopsis: While on routine patrol, a Public Safety officer observed two unknown individuals with a saw by the construction area at “C” lot. The individuals were identified as Swarthmore students who were loading logs into their vehicle.
