Criminal Mischief

Location: Sharples Dining Hall
Synopsis: A Swarthmore employee reported to Public Safety that there is a shopping cart on the roof of Sharples Dining Hall. There is damage to the roofing tiles, estimated value is $4,500. The matter is under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Sharples Drive for the report of a white Toyota Corolla driving recklessly. Upon arrival, the area was checked with negative results. Information on file for future reference.

Synopsis: On 9/30/2014, a Swarthmore staff member reported to Public Safety she had received several telephone calls by the same individual who became irate during the conversation and hung up on the staff member.

Controlled Substance – Other Possession

Date: Monday, October 6
Time: 5:15pm
Location: Parrish Hall
Synopsis: A Swarthmore staff member reported to Public Safety that they found a container with unidentified pills within Parrish Hall. Public Safety responded and placed the pills in the evidence closet within Public Safety until they can be turned over to Swarthmore Police Department for destruction.

Synopsis: A Swarthmore student reported to Public Safety ongoing issues regarding a housing situation. This matter has been referred to the Dean’s office.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Kohlberg Hall for the report of a Swarthmore resident student in need of medical assistance. Health Center staff were notified.

Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police, and Ambulance responded to Clothier Hall for the report of an unresponsive individual who was not affiliated with Swarthmore College. The individual will be charged at a later date with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Fire Alarm

Location: Willets Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within Willets Residence Hall. Upon arrival, there was no sign of smoke or fire. The reason for activation is unknown.
