Time: 2:30­-4:00 p.m.
Location: Whittier Place
Synopsis: Public Safety received a report from a Swarthmore Borough resident regarding the theft of a razor scooter from the exterior of Whittier Meeting House on 9/19/14. The estimated value of the razor scooter is $35­-$50. The matter is under investigation.

Time: 4:50­-5:01 a.m.
Location: Willets Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety and Facilities responded to a fire alarm within Willets Residence Hall. Upon arrival, there was no sign of smoke or fire. Approximately 30 individuals evacuated the building. The reason for activation is unknown. Facilities was notified.

Location: McCabe Library
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to McCabe Library for the report of the theft of a bicycle on 9/24/14. The bicycle was later found outside of Hallowell Residence Hall.

Fire Alarm

Date: Thursday, September 25
Time: 4:28 p.m.
Location: Wharton Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety and Facilities responded to a fire alarm within Wharton Residence Hall. Upon arrival, there was no sign of smoke or fire. Officers detected an odor of hairspray or perfume, but the reason for activation is unknown. Five minutes later, Public Safety and Facilitates responded to a second fire alarm at the same location. The reason for activation is unknown. Facilities was notified.

Synopsis: Public Safety and Facilities responded to a fire alarm within Worth Residence Hall. Upon arrival, there was no sign of smoke or fire. It was determined that the alarm was activated due to steam from the shower. Approximately 15­-20 students evacuated the building. Facilities was notified.

Synopsis: Public Safety took a report from a Swarthmore resident student who encountered a male on campus who was approximately 40 to 50 years old and who was not affiliated with the College. The conversation with the individual cased the student concern. Information on file for future reference.

Synopsis: Public Safety received a report from the Title IX coordinator who reported that a Swarthmore student had reported being sexually harassed last year (2013-­2014). No further information was provided as to date, location or specific conduct. The matter is under investigation.

Location: Willets Residence Hall
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Willets Residence Hall for the report of an injured Swarthmore resident student. The student was transported to the hospital.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Cunningham Field for the report of an injured Swarthmore resident student. Delcom was notified and the student was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

Location: Wharton Drive
Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Wharton Lot for the report of several unknown individuals causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, the individuals were identified as Swarthmore students.

Synopsis: Public Safety received a call in reference to a Swarthmore resident student who was concerned about another resident student who was at a registered social event. Student was located on campus and escorted back to their residence.
