How was the Parrish Lounge “Dedicated in May 2006”?

February 13, 2006

Editor’s note: This article was initially published in The Daily Gazette, Swarthmore’s online, daily newspaper founded in Fall 1996. As of Fall 2018, the DG has merged with The Phoenix. See the about page to read more about the DG.

Has Swarthmore been graced by travelers from the future? Fortunately (or unfortunately) not, according to Dan West, Vice President of Alumni, Development, and Public Relations. “The plaque was finished and it seemed unnecessary to wait,” he told the Gazette, “so we put it up in anticipation of the formal dedication on May 5.”
