Philly shuttle expansion plan anticipates more flexibility
Student Council members are working with engineering students Sophia Pan ’09 and Tina Yeung ’09 to revamp the Philly Shuttle service, which provides free transportation to Philadelphia on weekends.
Every Friday and Saturday evening, a Swarthmore van rolls up to Parrish circle to pick up students and drive them into Philadelphia for free. Swarthmore students who use the service must reserve seats online in advance. The shuttle, the equivalent of a free chauffeur service, makes stops at Chinat…
