Date: Monday, April 6

Time: 12:06 p.m.

Location: Parrish Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Parrish Hall for the report of an unknown individual taking pictures. Investigation determined that the individual had been invited to participate in the Mountain Justice sit-in by Swarthmore students. Communications office was notified.

Status: Closed

 

Fire Alarm

 

Date: Monday, April 6

Time: 2:44 p.m.

Location: Black Cultural Center

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to a fire alarm within the Black Cultural Center. Upon arrival, the occupants had evacuated the building. There was no sign of smoke or fire. It was determined that the alarm was activated due to cooking in the kitchen and poor ventilation.

Vehicle Stop

 

Date: Monday, April 6

Time: 7:20 p.m.

Location: Crum Meadow

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Rogers Lane for the report of several unauthorized vehicles driving into the woods. Upon arrival, the drivers were identified and officers advised that they were not permitted on private property. They left without incident.

Simple Assault/Not Aggravated

 

Date: Wednesday, April 8

Time: 10:51 a.m.

Location: Science Center

Synopsis: Information received in reference to a physical assault during the LARP (Live Action Roleplay) event on Saturday 4/4/15. The incident involved two resident students. Matter under investigation.

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Mertz Residence Hall for the report of an unknown individual. Upon arrival, the individual was identified as a contractor.

Dating Violence

 

Date: Friday, April 10

Time: 7:32 p.m.

Location: Greylock Apartments

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to the Greylock Apartments to assist with a medical transport of a Swarthmore College student. Investigation determined that two residents of the apartment had an argument, which resulted in one individual sustaining a minor injury. Officers escorted the individual to the hospital and brought them back a short time later.

Date: Saturday, April 11

Time: 10:38 a.m.

Location: Alice Paul Residence Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police, and Swarthmore Ambulance responded to Alice Paul Residence Hall for the report of a Swarthmore student in need of medical attention. The student was transported to the hospital.

Medical Emergency

 

Date: Saturday, April 11

Time: 11:59 p.m.

Location: Phi Psi Fraternity House

Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police, and Swarthmore Ambulance responded to the exterior of Phi Psi Fraternity House for the report of a Swarthmore student in need of medical assistance. Upon arrival, it was determined that the student was intoxicated. The student was transported to the hospital and will be cited for underage drinking.

Date: Sunday, April 12

Time: 1:28 a.m.

Location: Hallowell Residence Hall

Synopsis: Public Safety, Swarthmore Police, and Media Ambulance responded to Hallowell Residence Hall for the report of an intoxicated Swarthmore student. The student was transported to the hospital and will be cited for underage drinking.

Status: Cleared

Time: 1:17 p.m.

Location: Rogers Lane

Synopsis: Public Safety responded to Rogers Lane for the report of an unauthorized vehicle driving into the woods. Upon arrival, the area was checked with negative results.
