Videos: Students Express Support for Muslim Student Advisor Position

April 28, 2014

Editor’s note: This article was initially published in The Daily Gazette, Swarthmore’s online, daily newspaper founded in Fall 1996. As of Fall 2018, the DG has merged with The Phoenix. See the about page to read more about the DG.

The Daily Gazette editorial board supports the creation of a Muslim Student Adviser position at Swarthmore. We think this position is essential for both the support of Muslim students on campus and the cultivation of the broader interfaith community, and campus as a whole. Please see below six students presenting statements in which they implore Dean Liliana Rodriguez to recognize the importance of this position to Swarthmore, its students, and its values.
