The defender led a superb effort that held No. 7 Johns Hopkins at bay for 49 minutes on Saturday. For good measure, Young added a goal on Tuesday in a 2-1 loss to Washington.

Favorite career moment:

“Freshman year — scoring an overtime goal against McDaniel.”

Goal for this season:

“To consistently play at a high level like we did against Hopkins.”
