Sunday, September 13th, dancers dressed in bright, tropical colors carrying blank protest signs paraded silently through Philadelphia Center City streets, followed by a marching band proudly performing a playlist of “Philadelphia Freedom,” “We Are Family,” and “Shake It Off.” Last presented in 1967, this showing of “Blank Placard Dance, Replay,” as part of the Philly Fringe Festival, asks what we want to protest and fight for, then and now.
