Editor’s note: This article was initially published in The Daily Gazette, Swarthmore’s online, daily newspaper founded in Fall 1996. As of Fall 2018, the DG has merged with The Phoenix. See the about page to read more about the DG.

This past week at Swarthmore: a screening of She, A Chinese, prefaced by a talk by the director Guo Xiaolu; students stage a march in remembrance of the Ferguson riots; an artist opens his gallery with a talk; and Swatties go apple picking to celebrate the Fall!
