Field Hockey

Sophia Agathis ’13 earned her 27th career assist in Wednesday’s 3-2 victory over Washington.  With 27 assists, Agathis is now tied for fifth in program history.

Audrey Allen ’16 scored her first career gamewinner in Wednesday’s 3-2 victory over Washington.  With just over five minutes remaining, Allen tipped home a Julia Tallarico ’13 shot on a penalty corner for her third goal as Swarthmore defeated Washington for the first time since 2007.

Erin Gluck ’16 scored her fifth career goal as part of a hat trick in Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Gettysburg.  Gluck’s third goal of the game came in the first minute of overtime and was her first career gamewinner as Swarthmore defeated Gettysburg for the first time since 2000.  Gluck was named Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her performance.

Nia Jones ’14 scored her 25th career goal in Wednesday’s 3-2 victory over Washington.  Jones split four defenders on a 50-yard run and finished to tie the game at two midway through the second half.

Men’s Soccer

Noah Sterngold ’14 picked up his 10th career point with an assist in Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Gettysburg.  Tied through 100 minutes of play, Sterngold sprang Mike Stewart ’15  on a break early in the second overtime for the gamewinner.  Sterngold has assisted on four of the team’s last five goals.

Volleyball

Kate Amodei ’15 picked up her 2ooth career dig in Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Gettysburg.  The sophomore’s defense helped Swarthmore come back from a 2-1 set deficit and win 20-18 in extra points against the Bullets to avenge last year’s five set loss.

Allie Coleman’13 registered her 2900th career assist in Wednesday’s 3-1 victory over Washington.  Coleman, after her performance on Saturday against Gettysburg and Moravian, is now 42 assists shy of becoming just the 2oth player in Centennial history to reach 3000.

Madison Heppe ’16 recorded her 2ooth career dig in Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Gettysburg.  Averaging nearly 4.5 digs per set this year, Heppe is fourth in the Centennial Conference.

Kat Montemurro ’13 recorded her 500th career dig in Wednesday’s 3-1 victory over Washington.  The senior followed with a 19 dig performance on Saturday against Gettysburg as part of a double-double effort with 25 kills.

Danielle Sullivan ’14 earned her 600th career dig as part of a 30 dig performance in Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Gettysburg.  Sullivan is third on the team in digs this season behind Heppe and Montemurro.

Women’s Soccer

Aly Passanante ’14 earned her 20th career point with a goal in Wednesday’s 3-0 victory over Washington.  Passanante capped the scoring with her ninth career goal and is now one of three active players with 20 or more career points.
