Spencer Topf’s Chill Out Tracks

Editor’s note: This article was initially published in The Daily Gazette, Swarthmore’s online, daily newspaper founded in Fall 1996. As of Fall 2018, the DG has merged with The Phoenix. See the about page to read more about the DG.

Spencer Topf ’14 is an Economics and Political Science major. He enjoys pottery, anything to do with art, and cigars. While he mostly listens to classic rock, he has been branching out recently and is currently in an electro/indie mood. He deejays for 91.5 WSRN on Thursdays from midnight to 1:00 a.m.

This playlist is a group of songs that are great to relax and chill to. All of them are things I’ve picked up in the past few weeks, and they’re great for doing work, getting ready to go out, or anything else. To find most of [my music], I scroll through tons of blogs and music sites. This playlist ranges from the most basic indie music to some remixes to some pure electro, but all of the songs are low energy and blissful.

1. “Pictures (GZUS Remix)” – Benjamin Francis Leftwich
2. “Colour In Your Hands (feat. Fink)” – D.L.i.D
3. “Hello My Old Heart” – The Oh Hello’s
4. “Roads Must Roll” – Boom Bip
5. “Open” – Rhye
6. “Disparate Youth” – Santigold
7. “Fit Against The Country” – Horse Feathers
8. “Help You Breathe” – Oliver Tank
9. “Below The Cherry Moon” – WhoMadeWho (KOMPAKT)
10. “Leaves Fall” – Mansions On The Moon
