Swimming: Garnet Men Make Big Splash
The Swarthmore men’s (4-5, 3-1 CC) freestyle relay gave the final push for a 103-102 win over Gettysburg (3-4, 3-1 CC), while the Swarthmore women (6-3, 4-1 CC) suffered a tough 114-91 loss to undefeated Gettysburg (8-0, 5-0 CC).

Men’s Basketball: Seniors Double Up, Garnet Fall in Lancaster
Garnet seniors Ian McCormick and Steve Wolf posted double-doubles as Swarthmore (5-14 overall, 1-11 CC) dropped a close Centennial contest to Franklin & Marshall 66-62 Saturday evening in the Mayser Center.

Women’s Basketball: Stockbower Plows On, Swat Falls To Hot Diplomats
The Swarthmore women’s basketball team ran into the hottest team in the Centennial, falling 84-55 to the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats 84-55 Saturday evening in the Mayser Center.

Indoor Track: Mullarkey Enters Swarthmore Top-Ten List
Cait Mullarkey ’09 had a personal-best while qualifying for conference championships in the one-mile posting a race-time of 5:18.40 (fifth-fastest time in school history).

Women’s Soccer: Juniors Receive D3kicks.com Honors
Garnet goalkeeper Lauren Walker ’09 was named to the D3kicks.com All-American third team while also receiving a Mid-Atlantic first team All-Region nod along with classmate Cait Mullarkey.
