WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Garnet Yield Centennial Win to Mules
ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Second half stand out, Ceylan Bodur ’11 came off the bench and made her presence known when she scored 12 of her 18 points from out side the arch for the Garnet. Marking her fourth double-double in a row (fifth for the season) Kathryn Stockbower ’11 shot 17 points and had a game-high 15 rebounds.

WOMEN’S SOCCER: Garnet Honored with NSCAA Team Academic Award
SWARTHMORE, Pa. – For the third year in a row, the Swarthmore women’s soccer team received the Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The NSCAA awarded over 400 teams with honor for commitment to their studies during the 2006-2007 academic year. Teams have to post a collective 3.00 or higher grade point average to earn the award.

Garnet Receive Team Fair Play Award
SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Swarthmore Women’s Soccer team was honored with the Team Fair Play Award from the Eastern Pennsylvania & Delaware Soccer Officials Association on Nov. 28th. The award is nominated and voted by the members of the organization consisting of soccer officials that oversee college and high school games in eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware areas. Annually the association gives out one college and one high school award to teams who show the most consistent good sportsmanship on the field.

Junior Kela Watts ’26 is a student-athlete on the varsity women’s lacrosse team. The attack from Tampa, FL made an immediate impact on her arrival to Swarthmore, scoring one goal and assisting two in an eleven-game appearance in her first collegiate season.
