First-years’ Facebook groups provide insight with limitations
In 2004, Mark Zuckerberg created the social networking site Facebook, which has risen to Internet prominence by providing a convenient and efficient way for people to connect with friends and stay updated in their lives. Over the last few years, Swarthmore started using the site as a meeting ground for incoming first-years.
