SBC ups Movie Committee duties
The Student Budget Committee has decided to dramatically expand the responsibilities of the Movie Committee in response to last month’s copyright infringement warnings from the Motion Picture Association of America and Swank Motion Pictures. In light of the recent warnings, the SBC froze movie funding for several student groups on campus, shifting the responsibility of buying movie licenses to the Movie Committee.
