Work for the Phoenix.
Putting The Phoenix together every week takes over 30 student editors, reporters, photographers, and copy editors, in addition to a business staff that handles the newspaper’s advertising and finances. While prior experience with The Phoenix and student journalism is a plus, all positions are open to any currently enrolled student and no experience is necessary.

How to apply:
1. Read our job descriptions or contact our editors (editor@swarthmorephoenix.com) to figure out what kind of position might be right for you.
2. Send an email to editor@swarthmorephoenix.com indicating which positions you would like to be considered for. You can apply for multiple jobs. For most positions, we’ll need one or two samples of your work, which should be attached to the email in a single Word or PDF document. Journalistic work (writing, photography, editing, etc.) is preferred, but we can also accept writing samples of other kinds.
