Jorin Schug’s All-Encompassing Welcome Back Mix

September 5, 2012

Editor’s note: This article was initially published in The Daily Gazette, Swarthmore’s online, daily newspaper founded in Fall 1996. As of Fall 2018, the DG has merged with The Phoenix. See the about page to read more about the DG.

Jorin Schug is a sophomore who runs in his spare time. He enjoys physics and math, and has had a radio show on WSRN. His sense of humor comes out in this quirky playlist — a diverse bunch of songs perfect for exploring new music. Jorin bravely opted to share his eclectic music taste with us in the first Campus Mixtapes of the school year!

Honestly, I can’t quite explain why I like any of this music.  But I can say that most of it is pretty weird and diverse.  Some songs are really mellow and some are pretty intense.  Some songs are short and some are really long.  However, each song has definitely inspired me at some point in my recent years and hopefully, there is a little something for everybody in here.
