Get Out In That Kitchen with Jessi Holler

November 5, 2010

Editor’s note: This article was initially published in The Daily Gazette, Swarthmore’s online, daily newspaper founded in Fall 1996. As of Fall 2018, the DG has merged with The Phoenix. See the about page to read more about the DG.

The Gazette now features (usually) weekly shows from the student radio station WSRN. The shows are picked by the WSRN Board. You can find podcasts of all the student shows on WSRN’s site, or listen live online or on 91.5 FM.

Jessi Holler ’11’s show Get Out In That Kitchen this week explores “declarations of sass” by women artists in the folk and country western traditions. The show includes songs performed by New York area artist Elaine Romanelli in WSRN’s Studio B, along with an interview by Jessi.

Romanelli will be performing at Milkboy Coffee, in Bryn Mawr, on Saturday at 7:30. The show costs $5.
