Israel sent tanks into the Gaza Strip and closed a major West Bank city following a day of violent confrontations that left five Palestinians dead and dozens wounded.

Actor Anthony Dwain Lee, 39, died at a Halloween party in a Hollywood Hills mansion after he was shot several times by an officer of the LAPD who fired at him through a glass door early Saturday morning.
