Activist preacher addresses current “Earth-crisis”
Though he sports the trademark Elvis-pompadour and the clerical collar and suit of televangelist Billy Graham, Reverend Billy is far from a right-wing conservative religious leader. Instead, Reverend Billy, created by performance artist Bill Talen, is a parody of the late-night televangelist through which Talen promotes anti-consumerist and environmentalist messages.
