New TVs create buzz on campus
As returning students made their way over to Sharples dining hall early last semester, there seemed to be a new addition to the Swarthmore community. Clinging tightly to the back corner of the main dining room, a 65-inch Samsung flat screen television monitor greeted students at the opening of the new academic year. Curiously enough, it wasn’t, and hasn’t been, turned on.
But this isn’t the only television that’s been getting attention at the college. All over campus, newly-wired cable box…
