Are gap years a growing trend among Swatties?
Typically, students continuing in academia go straight from high school to college, and then (19.8% of the time if they’re a Swattie) to graduate school. However, some students choose a less traditional path and take a gap year, or a year off. Whether before, during, and/or after college, the time offers students an alternative to the conventional path of continuous schooling.
