A recent exhibit at Kitao Gallery emphasized small pieces of art. Students were invited to submit artwork with dimensions of 4X4X4 or smaller for the exhibit, called Miniatures, either on their own time or through a study break Kitao hosted last Thursday. “We thought that would be easy and fun. It was more about quantity than quality, the presentation [of the pieces],” Genevieve Woodhead ’12, a member of Kitao Gallery, said. Student pieces were displayed throughout the gallery, in an exhibit that opened Friday and lasted through Monday.
