The junior defender spearheaded a stunning effort that kept #2 Stevens Tech at bay for the second year in a row by a score of 1-0. Newman and the Swarthmore defense held the visitors to only three shots on goal.
Favorite career moment:
“Winning the conference championship last year.”
Goal for this season:
“Win NCAAs. That’s what we’re shooting for.”

“Surfing.”
