Committee chooses two phoenix costume designs
Swarthmore athletes are one step closer to being goaded on at their games by a costumed man or woman, as the Mascot Committee has officially announced the two winners of its mascot design contest.
In the following weeks, the designs from Summer Spicer ‘07 (top) and Laura Post ’09 (bottom) will have elements drawn from them to be integrated into a costume for the college’s future athletic mascot, the Phoenix.
