Borough businesses struggle to draw students
At 9:45 p.m. on Sunday night, three Swarthmore students have staked out a window table in the borough’s Dunkin’ Donuts, where they are picking cheerios out of Sharples cups and scouring stacks of JSTOR articles. Although the students are making good use of the free WiFi and jarring fluorescent bulbs, it’s obvious that the ubiquitous ring stains on their papers came from Sharples’ coffee, not Dunkin’s.
