Chalkings elicit unprecedented response
The words “come out come out wherever you are” border the top of one set of steps on Magill Walk. Outside of Tarble, one artist reminds passersby that “closets are for clothes.” As evidenced by chalk drawings on sidewalks all over campus, it is National Coming Out Week. While these writings and chalked images of sexual acts and human anatomy appear during Coming Out Week every year, they have elicited a campus response this time unique from years past.
