Clinton skips Swat
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and current Governor Ed Rendell did not speak at Swarthmore yesterday after the college denied a request received last Thursday to hold such an event. Instead, a rally in support of Rendell’s bid for re-election and Lois Murphy’s candidacy for the sixth district of Congress, with Clinton as the main speaker, was held at Bryn Mawr yesterday.
