Bob Gross to retire at year's end
Last Thursday morning, without any prior indication, Dean of the College Robert Gross ’62 announced to students, faculty and staff via e-mail that he will retire at the end of this academic year.
Addressed to “Friends,” an informal salutation that might be off-key at another institution but is characteristic of Gross’s time as dean, the message stated simply that at the age of 65, Gross feels that, “it is time for me to move on to the next thing.”
