Students, faculty unite to register voters
The Swarthmore Voter Registration Coalition, founded last spring by Ethan Ucker ’07 and Christian DeSimone ’06, has undertaken initiatives to register voters at the college and in surrounding Chester and Upper Darby before the presidential election this November.
Prior to SVRC’s founding, several groups on campus had been planning voter registration drives, including the College Democrats, Swarthmore Progressive Action Committee, Choosing Clarity and Radical African Dissent.
